I am a User Experience (UX) Designer with 12+ years of experience in end to end UX delivery for enterprise products. My special expertise within UX is in Data Visualization & Analytics, in a Data Platforms & Business Intelligence (BI) context. My profile comes with a broad exposure to various domains such as Retail, Supply Chain, eCommerce, Talent & HR, Real Estate, FinOps, RevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity & Enterprise IT. My career outlook is to pivot into roles that do not require a high degree of visual acuity & pixel precision. So I am exploring tangentially alternate roles that could leverage the transferable skills I bring from my past experience. I am intentionally open to a broad range of roles & career options, so that I can narrow down to the most sustainable path for the long term. 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: With a lived experience of Low Vision & a strong 12+ years of experience in User Experience (UX) Design & Human Computer Interaction (HCI) - I am motivated to pursue Accessibility (a11y) & Inclusive Design as an envelope domain. Some of the roles that I am interested within this are: Accessibility (a11y) Analyst (or) Engineer Inclusive Designer & Accessibility UX Designer UX Manager (Accessibility) UXR / User Researcher (Accessibility) Product (or) Program Manager (Accessibility initiatives) 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 The above are some roles I could think of as logical extensions that leverage my 12+ years of experience as a UX Designer. I am open to exploring other roles that the DE&I teams think might be applicable as pivots. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 I am cognizant of the up-skilling required for transitioning into niche roles. I am committed to the learning & development (L&D) needs & knowledge ramp ups that might be necessary for career transitions - be it in-house L&D, mentor-guided and externally through academia.
