Experienced software engineer with 6+ years of experience providing software engineering, system design and administration, and information security services. After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at the University of Mississippi, I began my career in software engineering as a Python developer attached to cyber security and threat intelligence teams at some of the top cyber security companies in the country before transitioning into fullstack engineering. I have experience implementing various architectures from more traditional Service Oriented Architectures to distributed Event-Driven Architectures that combine API gateways, microservices, and serverless lambda functions. In my spare time I enjoy coding, lifting, and teaching. I presented my research on Chinese information security culture at the prestigious SANS Summit in Washington D.C.
