I'm a Staff Software Development Engineer passionate about building secure, scalable network infrastructure that protects millions of users worldwide. Currently at Zscaler, I lead the ZPA Broker module development for our Zero Trust Exchange platform. My work focuses on architecting critical features like the SYNC PAUSE functionality that enables zero-downtime maintenance across global database systems. I also own the ZPA Lookup module end-to-end, where I've implemented comprehensive performance optimizations and real-time monitoring through Grafana dashboards. One of my proudest recent achievements was developing a custom Code Coverage tool using Python and HTML/CSS that generates real-time reports for git diff changes, now integrated into our Jenkins CI/CD pipeline. This has significantly improved our development velocity and code quality. I've also resolved over 100 critical production incidents, diving deep into memory corruptions and system crashes using advanced GDB analysis. Before Zscaler, I spent 5+ years at Cisco building enterprise routing solutions that power some of the world's largest networks. I led a $30M project developing the Dynamic Link Exchange Protocol for the US Military's Radio Aware Routing system. Working with Fortune 500 clients like Google, Microsoft, and Deutsche Bank taught me how to solve complex networking challenges under pressure. At Cisco, I pioneered algorithms for deep packet inspection and load balancing, designed security features like TrustSec for software-defined network segmentation, and built comprehensive automation test suites that are still used today. Resolving 150+ critical defects across ASR1k and ISR4K platforms gave me deep expertise in production debugging and performance optimization. My technical foundation spans C/C++, Python, Java, and Golang, with extensive experience in PostgreSQL, AWS, microservices, and distributed systems.
