Developed (from scratch), maintaining and scaling Programmatic Buying platform using which Media.net can buy ad-impressions from any SSPs (Supply Side Platforms) like Google, Appnexus, Prebid, etc.
The platform can be used to buy any ad format (banner, video, native) on any distribution channel (app, site).
The platform handles 100K+ QPS at peak traffic with each request getting served within 200ms.
Increased box qps capacity from 700 QPS to 3000 QPS by CPU profiling through YourKit.
Self Serve Ad Campaign Manager
Extended legacy code to serve native advertisements (used to serve only display).
Migrated to a containerized application from box dependent app by moving legacy reporting and logging through a data pipeline.
Cache proxy for Entity Management Service
Datacenter near cache proxy setup using nginx with custom cache invalidation to be used by any client.
Reduced average lookup time to 1ms from 60ms giving an opportunity to reduce app cache memory footprint.
