• Along with front-line role for VMware core products (ESXi, vCenter) I currently act as a lead for VMware backup, vSphere Data Protection (VDP) for the EST and CST region.

• Collate known issues from across teams and test to reproduce the issues in lab, escalate to EMC and work with L3 / L4 EMC engineers in a timely manner to gather bug fix / workarounds.
• Document known VDP bugs, backup and restore issues and share them across engineers to cut down troubleshooting time.
• Develop shell scripts to automate bug fixes, deployments, sanity health checks for data protection servers.
• Supported NASA Production down, P1, and P2/P3/P4 tickets for Site Recovery Manager and vSphere Replication. Was single point of contact for EMEA Basic SRM/vR support handling high visibility escalations.
• Well versed in performing SRM database repair using SQL scripts and internal PostgreSQL tools. Supported on call monitoring of live DR activity for critical accounts to ensure business continuity.
• Provide weekend support for P1 Site failure issues.
• Work with Array vendors to isolate Array level replication issues. Provide RCAs to failed DR activity and perform sanity checks to ensure stable DR activities. Mentor new SRM resources on troubleshooting skills.
• Constantly update internal knowledge base and file bugs with engineering upon encountering them in customer or in house environment, pre and post GA release.

• o vRealize Log Insight and vRealize Orchestrator:
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot vRealize Log Insight.
