I lead the Developer Experience vertical at HackerRank, driving product and technology strategy to ensure a flawless assessment experience for millions of candidates on HackerRank. As part of my day-to-day responsibilities, I currently manage the following 3 teams -
1. Infrastructure Team: Oversees the processing of millions of daily assessment submissions with near-instant latency. Manages more than 70 programming languages, databases, and technology stacks to meet the diverse demands of the platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and top-tier performance.
2. IDE Team: Delivers a best-in-class coding environment across various use cases, including Problem Solving, Web and Mobile Development, Data Science, DevOps, and Cloud. Provides fast and intuitive experiences using modern editors such as Monaco, VS Code, and JupyterLab, enabling candidates to do their best work under real-world conditions.
3. Content Engineering Team: Develops and maintains a high-quality content library for all roles and skills offered by HackerRank. Currently building a next-generation content management platform leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI Agents to significantly scale content generation, curation and quality control.
Additionally, I look after engineering and product charters in close collaboration with the product team, maintain high standards for SLAs of internal products, lead the recruitment of top-tier engineering talent, and foster a culture of engineering excellence as part of the leadership team.
