• Leading the development of new features in UPI like UPI on ATM, UPI on PPI, etc. as well as leading the end to end development and delivery of Issuer side implementation of UPI on credit cards and credit line. • Worked on designing the low level design of the UPI payment application for the largest private sector bank in India, HDFC bank. Implemented end to end UPI payment solution. Tuned the app performance to handle the expected high TPS of UPI payments and was instrumental in solving critical problems for a payment switch along with the team.
• Migrated all existing services' cryptographic operations to a single hub to enable platform independence in case of using Hardware Security Modules. This involved extensive knowledge of crypto operations being used in payment systems and understanding of all the services starting from card creation to payment. This helped in achieving an active-active setup for any DR situation.
• Adding support for distributed instances of ACS server in case of ECOMM payments. This was achieved by using caching mechanisms for SecondFactor data and message publishing to maintain same state for all transactions in all the instances
