• The first 3 months at WYDR were very exciting, just like any other early stage startup there was tremendous improvement opportunity. Some key achievements:
• Migrated entire Infra to Cloud and revamped architecture to help reduce latencies by an order of magnitude e.g. Homepage load speed improved by 10X leading to an immediate positive impact on conversions.
• Introduced microservices architecture & serverless computing. Launched personalization engine which helped increase conversion significantly for repeating users.
• Built the Data Warehouse as a central repository of data & metrics, helping org move towards metrics driven approach to product.
• Rebuilt the team with smart engineers & revamped the hiring process. Trained fresh, young smart engineers to build world class software.

• Building Phone Warrior from ground up has been the most memorable phase of my career. We were acquired by Snapdeal in Feb 2016
• Bootstrapped a high tech business from ground zero in the Mobile domain. We raised seed from Lightspeed Venture Partners in Nov 2013.
• Global organic traction of 20k downloads a day, seem well positioned to make a big dent in the universe.
• Having a lot of fun building a pure technology platform play which leverages modern advances in computing like Machine learning, Cloud computing and Graph databases.
• Got good learning of non technical aspects of building a high tech business : Product Management, UX thinking, Business planning, Strategic thinking, Business development and other necessary ingredients.
• Sold Phone Warrior to Snapdeal for Technology assets, know how and the fantastic team we built.

• Visinor Technologies, was a test bed to try out my startup ideas after quitting my job at Impetus in Aug 2011.
• We played around with myriads of ideas and technology in the internet and mobile domain, before zeroing down on Phone Warrior as the most promising candidate in August 2012.
• Visinor Technologies became Phone Warrior Inc in Dec 2013 after our 5 member bootstrapped firm got funded by LSVP.

• Rambhai.com is a social democratic media website, based on the principles of user moderation. I joined as the Technical Co-founder and was instrumental in :
• Scaling the website from a few hundred hits daily to millions of hits a day
• Designing and developing the unique Karma System for user engagement
• Designing and developing the auto learning spam filter to keep the site clean
• Engaging users and building a vibrant community
• Helping Rambhai.com rank amongst top 500 websites(Alexa ranking) in India (2008) in terms of unique visitors
• Rambhai.com preceded the Facebook era for content discovery in India, and could not scale though it was seeing significant traffic till early 2013. We have shut down the portal in March 2013.
