• Early member of AWS Lambda / Serverless team. Led all services for Lambda's customer facing functionality - API, Control Plane, tooling, event integrations, and function execution environments (runtimes).
• Helped scale from early stage as service grew from 25+ to 250+ engineers with 50x service growth. - Helped establish Lambda’s remote engineering site in Dublin, Ireland and grew it
• Drove significant enhancements and STeam initiatives e.g. Lambda Layers (re:Invent 2018 keynote), SQS event source.

• Led engineering for Amazon SimpleDB, DynamoDB storage during growth from 3 million requests/sec to 60+ million requests/second. DynamoDB is one of the most widely used services on AWS.
• Proposed and helped setup the first AWS team in India and transitioned SimpleDB service to the new site.
• Established DynamoDB’s storage services teams and led all services that included Storage, Replication, Indexing, Data Protection, DynamoDB Streams. Hired 50+ engineers for new storage services org.
• Drove significant product enhancements - for new secondary indexing service (Patent #11314717) and DynamoDB Data Protection services (Re:Invent 2017 keynote).
• Post operational event in 2015, drove substantial operational improvements for DynamoDB - reduced oncall load by 80%, 2x storage throughput (cost savings of $xxx mm/yr) and large latency reductions (30+% reduction in p99+ latencies).
