• As a DevSecOps Engineer for VBA, I architect and implement the CI/CD processes for the VICCS portfolio for complete automation from commit to deployment, with strict compliance to information security and company policies. I redefine processes/policies and implement automated security scanning as well as 3rd party package vulnerability assessment in the pipeline while applying AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure in both commercial and GovCloud/GCC spaces. Moreover, I am accountable for managing the AWS and Azure infrastructure using Azure DevOps, Terraform, PowerShell, and AWS Systems Manager, utilizing Evergreen IT concepts to build and secure the integrity of each involved process. I act as a DevSecOps Evangelist across the organization, giving demos to prospective clients on the company’s DevOps process as well as internal demos to other teams on how to utilize DevSecOps principles in their environments.

• During my time at the Financial Services Center, I served as an active member of DevDataSecOps (DDSO), implementing solutions for integrating Nexus, Netsparker, and SonarQube into the DevOps practice and handling escalated support tickets or service requests for the assigned department. I participated in moving applications from manual to automated deployments, coordinating with the development, database administration, security analysts, and IT Operations team members to ensure the absence of resource conflicts. Furthermore, I supported the enforcement of standards for development and testing, contributing to Hygieia’s proof of concept for use.

Furthermore, I honed excellent communication skills working in a joint environment serving diverse stakeholders, including the Department of Defense, Department of State, foreign military personnel, and foreign government officials.
