• Worked as member of Computing systems research center focussing on operating systems and networking research.
• Worked on Quality of Service in a High Speed Integrated Networks, with main focus on congestion control, buffer management and scheduling. Designed a buffer management algorithm "Class based Early Fair Drop” to be used in conjunction with per-flow queuing and scheduling at routers.
• Part of the team developing Eclispe/BSD, a modification to FreeBSD Operating System to provide quality of service guarantees framework to the applications. These guarantees are provided using link, disk and CPU schedulers and a file system based reservation API.
