• Led the engineering to build highly-available, reliable and optimized cache system for CI used for millions of large object save/restore per hour. Also, build cache management experience to list and manage caches through different types of client interfaces.
• Revamped the getting started experience for Actions with repository code analysis based
• recommendation system. This doubled the update of suggested workflows. Created open source and inner source collaborations with community and partners.
• Enhanced the extensible "bring your own storage" for on-premise customers to support
• multi cloud offering by enabling Google cloud support. These unlocked hundreds of
• enterprises to use Actions. Also managed a self-serve system to allow third storage providers
• do validations and sign-offs, thereby broadening the storage options.
• Building a near-real time Actions Insights feature for users to enable them to use Actions
• more effectively. A huge volume of Actions run data is continuously collected from
• multiple decision points in the backend, and then co-related and aggregated to present
• various facets of insights via a simple UI.

• Led and grew the team from 5 to 10 engineers and managed the change from Microsoft to
• GitHub while handling key vacant positions.
• Led the engineering to create and operate two services from scratch. Template service lists
• applicable workflow templates, and the Provisioning service handles creation of pre-requisites
• and checking-in a CD yaml manifest. These services enabled Actions led DevOps for applications deploying to different cloud ecosystems.
• Using above services, created an ecosystem of integrations including VS Code and Visual
• Studio experiences to drive this seamless onboarding right from the home of developers,
• giving them frictionless end to end interactions.

• Part of Azure DevOps product. Built seamless and high fidelity integration between Azure and Azure DevOps (and GitHub Actions) to enable Azure customers to use Azure DevOps for Day0 and DayN CI/CD and traceability. This enabled DevOps story for different Azure services like Web Apps, AKS
• and VM.

• Was part of team that built DevOps starter experience in Azure with first party integration
• that offered guided pathways across systems with seamless authorization flow. Implemented the resource provider backend handling thousands of CRUD operations per day. Designed and created frontend with a config-as-code driven architecture which allowed easy augmentation of UI features
• with templatization resulting in quick enhancement shippings.
• Built Deployment centers for Azure kubernetes service and Azure virtual machines which
• allows users to manage the deployment lifecycle through Azure DevOps build and release
• suites. This leveraged and integrated with technologies like k8s manifests, helm charts,
• docker, packer etc. Also built a virtual machine extension for tag based deployment
• strategy using VM scale set based deployment groups.

This allows developers to define Continuous delivery process for their application with ability to run phase wise, named and retry-able deployments with high availability for millions of jobs per month. Also built an extension for tag based deployment strategy using VM scale set based deployment groups.
• Developer Analytics product - Built a server analytics product which had capability to push log events using an SDK to a log analytics backend, and subsequently surfaced to application developers.
• SQL manageability tools - Created API and object model layers for SQL engine backed

• Worked on Pure Video technology which enabled DirectX Video Acceleration and Postprocessing by programming GPUs. Worked on DirectShow, different coding standards and co-ordinated with different third party decoders.
• Worked on bitstream error recovery effort. This enabled HW to be able to recover from
• error in H264 bitstream instead of going into a hung/unstable state. This required top to
• bottom changes from Hardware to application level interactions.
