• The last few years were an incredible grind — high-stakes delivery, firefighting launches, juggling stakeholders and constant scaling. When the noise eased, I finally had space to think, recharge and simply live a little. I caught up with old friends, watched tonnes of movies, spent time with family, mentored a lot of engineers and engineering leaders, and dove into AI’s impact on how we build and lead. Looking back, that phase feels less like a pause and more like an upgrade — a period that added depth, patience and sharper perspective to my leadership lens.

• Built a complete digital signage product from ground up. Oversee the complete product development, infrastructure, quality control and product management. Built on top of AWS IoT Core and other services offered by AWS, making it a complete IoT solution.

Jan 2019 – Jan 2022 · 3 yrs

• Built a larger team on the full IoT system comprising of micro services, firmware, TV app and web dashboard. Recently added the cloud printing solution including the centralised printing service serving thousands of printers all written from scratch. Starting from the project planning, breaking it into various pieces, assigning their timelines etc.
• Used the common AWS services like S3, EC2, lambda apart from REST APIs, GoLang, Java, secured Kafka and MQTT to build this.

Dec 2016 – Dec 2018 · 2 yrs

• Singlehandedly built the OnPremiseServer out of the newly learnt technologies like GoLang, Kafka, MQTT and LoRa which acts as, according to the name, server running in the physical premises and communicates with the cloud services. Also led a very small team in developing similar firmware and OTT application based on Android. In parallel trained the L2 support team and QA team members to ramp them up in IoT.
• Worked effortlessly with the customer operations team to make sure that the product is landed as planned during the development.

Jun 2014 – Nov 2016 · 2 yrs 5 mos · Greater Bengaluru Area

• I was part of the Engineering Customer Response Team taking any kind of production issues coming directly from the enterprise customer. Job not only included triaging but also fixing the bug as soon as possible to make sure that the customer continue to use the product smoothly to run his business. Worked on entire Android starting from kernel internels to writing the custom application to make this happen. Also got the exposure to work with individuals across the globe such as from Europe, Middle East Asia, Australia, Eastern Asia and North America.

• Built the NFC library from scratch to allow any application developer using modern smartphones of top brands running the NXP Semiconductor NFC controllers to write the applications harnessing the NFC capabilities of the device. Also worked on various modules on cryptography.

• My experience included entire android architecture. From top application level to hardware level. It includes research and development of android based mobile devices. Also worked on fixing the complex bugs of stability issues, checking ram dumps, analyzing bugs in Lauterbach Trace32, going through OOPS/panic messages etc. I have worked on NVIDIA TEGRA 3 and Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset
