• 1. Responsible for all horizontal technology platforms for Flipkart. Including IaaS, PaaS, Kubernetes as a Service, Service Mesh, MultiDC databases/ Message Queue and Distributed Key Value Pairs. Specially focused on bringing in technologies that make our developers more productive and get less surface area of introducing regressions as most of the non-business functionality is subsumed by platforms offerings.
• 2. Responsible for evolving Flipkart's Hybrid Cloud and MultiDC strategy for future. Platforms needs to run 6-12 months ahead of the curve current. We not only maintain the current services and offerings but also anticipate future requirements and start building for those ahead of time.
• 3. Responsible for Reliability and Productivity Engineering for Flipkart to ensure that Flipkart run smoothly in the midst of all the new launches.
• 4. Responsible for managing and efficiently processing all e-commerce data and analytical data for Flipkart (upwards of 100s of PBs of data and growing faster than ever ) and all policies related to managing the data and making it available to our Data Science, Business and Analytics teams.

• (1) Leading a team of architects and engineers to build the smartest Big Data Platform and a Knowledge Graph a.k.a a 'Data Civilizer' system for Flipkart's big-data. Platform ensures Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Discovery and provides advanced streaming primitives to support real time aggregates to be consumed by the entire org to make realtime decisions.
• (2) Building a Machine Learning/AI Platform to speed up ML usage in Flipkart to manage, host and scale all ML models in Flipkart and make Data Scientist efficient.
• (3) Leading a team of data scientist and engineers for detecting and preventing various kinds of frauds (RTO prediction, Fake Detection, Rating and Review Fraud) via Machine Learning.

• I joined Numerify from its start. I am responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of Numerify's app design/automation platform. My work involved deciding the overall architecture of the automation/modeling platform, as well as the technologies and frameworks to be used in building the platform. I was solely responsible for deciding on the modeling and meta-modeling frameworks, Code-generation frameworks, the architectural constraints ( REST in this case ), ORM technologies, Versioning strategy, Caching strategy , Security, Scalability, as well as Administration. This technology platform, is use for modeling and speeding up cloud based business analytics application. Internal components were written to auto-generate a lot of code from the models.
• I also coded the security, caching and the administration modules.
• My job also involves active code-reviews and maintaining the sanctity of the architecture.
• I was passionate about building a high calibre team and was responsible for first setting up the development hiring processes in the start-up and then actively participating in ramping up the development team.

• IBM STSM (Senior Technical Staff Member) is a corporate level technical position given to a few technical people who have made fundamental contributions in a domain which in my case was Software Architecture tools, UML modelling and automatic code generation technologies. Approx 15 IBM Fellows, Distinguish Engineers and STSMs have to vouch for your technical skills and contribution before you can become one of them.
• Received IBM OTA award, the highest award in IBM for technical excellence.
• Rational Software Architect is IBM Rational's flagship market leading product for UML modeling as well as Model Driven Development (MDD) . As an STSM, I was responsible for conceptual and technical evolution of the product suite and made fundamental contributions to it in terms of automatic code-generation technologies, adopting new domains like Java-Spring etc.
