• Responsible for engineering leadership for a 40+ Intuit Data Platform team in IDC, which included Ingestion and Data Catalog engineering.

• Conceptualised, built and migrated all of Ingestion using Unified Ingestion Platform, which is an event based ingestion platform that handles peta byte scale of data, 3 Billion events / day and Terabytes of new data / day. This effort helped in enabling near real time ingestion of data, decreasing the ingestion on-boarding time through self-serve, significantly improving the freshness of the data in the lake (From 48 hours to 1 hour), Cut the ingestion costs by 40%.
• Led the team in defining the strategy and execution plan for the data catalog product, which is about building a better discoverable and searchable data using a Open source data catalog solution

As part of this role, was mainly responsible for leading a 20+ member engineering team. As part of this role, took over the responsibility of engineering for all of Ingestion platforms and also effectively lead a highly visible and important migration program of Ingestion platform to public cloud to AWS

• Responsible for leading the engineering for a very complex and highly visible program to revamp the experience of Sales, Care & Business Operations agents across various segments of Small Business Group (SBG). As part of this effort lead the team that built a Near Real Time pipeline that enables agents to get access to real time data in one place. Also responsible for engineering many complex business processes that the agents use to serve our customers. This was a 3-4 year program that involves engineering teams from various BUs of Intuit to collaborate to retire 100+ legacy tools the agents use and consolidate all this in the Target state architecture.

• Responsible for leading engineering for the Global aspects of QuickBooks Online as part of which we launched the product worldwide and enabled accounting for very complex markets like France, India, Australia and Canada. Also undertook the complex effort of enabling the product to support languages other than English. To enable faster launch of the product in various regions, re architected the product using the variability engineering concepts.

• Responsible for Internationalizing and Globalizing Intuit's QuickBooks Online (QBO) product and launching it in countries outside of US like UK, Singapore. Lead a team of highly skilled engineers that wrote the complex accounting logic for enabling Small Businesses in countries outside of US to run their business while meeting the local accounting norms. This work was key for Intuit to go Global and significantly expand the business outside of US.

• Played the role of Delivery manager for a key program for SITA which involved re-developing the Airline Passenger services products using SOA based architecture. Program's end objective was to retire SITA's mainframe systems and develop the Reservation, Check-in, Weight & Balance & other key modules in a SOA based architecture. My responsibilities were to kick start this program for SITA in MindTree and lead a team of 100+ engineers.
