• Lectured and worked with a group of 20 high school students over the course of several weeks on the science and mathematics of heat transfer. Created and provided lectures on differential equations and heat transfer. Taught technologies such as COMSOL. I also helped create and oversee several laboratory experiments that reinforced the mathematical models that were taught.

• Worked as an assistant to a PhD candidate on a research project involving the creation of a novel membrane to filter out methane and carbon dioxide during the biogas upgrading process. Monitored and improved a test cell that measured gaseous phase solubility of CO2 and methane in water.
