• In Amazon.com Inc, I am working on Java server side. I am working on a service which has a very high throughput requirements. This application/service used massively distributed service framework with multiple layers and types of caching to increase the throughput. The project involved multiple threads, thread-pool, and synchronization primitives.
• The basic technology used is proprietary Service framework based Ion and java. For the database, we use No-SQL to AWS as RDS using Hibernate.
• My work is in domain of similarities recognition and maintaining a large catalog of data. We use item-item collaborative filtering system for our product.

• In Bloomberg LP, I have developed an application/service which responds/services in sub 20millisecond timeframe in UNIX/Solaris. This application/service used low latency, high-throughput proprietary DB, SQL server. The project involved multiple threads, thread-pool, and synchronization primitives.
• My work involved designing application, writing application/services in C++ in Unix, designing database schema, writing stored procedures, and writing WSDL files.
• I wrote a C++ module in Unix that would allow synchronization between two heterogeneous databases.
• I have worked three types of databases, at Bloomberg. One proprietary database, which was extremely tuned for performance but was not thread safe, another proprietary database, which was high in performance, with SQL lite, interface and was thread safe. I have also worked on MS SQL server.
• As a personal project, I developed a tool in C# that would allow one to serialize database schema and would allow one to compare database schema changes over a time period.

• Design and develop ‘Call via work feature’ which involved writing a COM object for Windows Mobile 6/6.5. The feature enabled the client to call a third party from his cell phone via Office PSTN. I wrote a scheduler in C++ for the Communicator Mobile Client which will synchronize multiple mobile wake-ups to save battery and bandwidth.

• Implement multiple modules in the Elxsi’s SIP stack (RFC 2543 and RFC 3261 compliant). I was involved in the design of all the SIP stack modules. I wrote code for the Register-client support, and Subscription-Notification’s basic framework.
• I worked on the design and implementation of Event Package framework and in particular the Presence and Watcher event package client and server. This package in particular is known as buddy list. I designed and partially coded the Transport layer for the SIP stack.
