Hi, I am Rajroop, a sales and operations professional and a startup guy at heart. Having done two stints with large Corporates, I wanted more from my work, which drove me towards startups.   • We created an Assurance product (assured milestone based Resale price model) for making EV ownership (both 2W and 4W) simpler for consumers. We ran into issues with OEMs on Vehicle level Data (battery SOC, SOH, charging frequency, etc.) availability that was essential to make the commercial model work. Decided to shut down in Jan 2025.

  • I was heading the neobanking Business under RazorpayX. This is a SAAS business sitting as a layered solution on top of a current account and provides powerful banking solutions to merchants. My teams were responsible for acqusition (via Direct and Channel Partner Sales) of SME, Mid market and Enterprise businesses and account management (via Customer success teams) of the same.
  • I was responsible for the overall Business and product strategy and the banking partnerships. Was working with ICICI, Yes bank, IDFC, RBL and Axis bank for multiple product offerings.
  • Was the primary sponsor for launching the Business Banking+ SAAS platform and pivot the revenue strategy to SAAS billing. The business had scaled to 2xx cr+ gross revenue (annualised) under my leadership.

  • As the Business head, I was responsible for scaling Sales and Operations for the two wheeler lending across the country. I Lead the entire Business charter, spread across FOS sales (Dealership based sourcing), Operations (consumer lending, Dealership management) and NBFC co lending partnerships. Had joined them at a pre-series A stage and was successful in scaling up a 250cr+ loan book during my tenure. Expanded the business to 11 cities of the country with 5 NBFC and bank partners.
  • Oto Capital is a co-lending startup catering to credit accessibility and ease of ownership for two wheeler owners. The company is a pioneer in lending for Electric vehicles and helped craft the growth story for brands such as PureEV, Okinawa, Ola Electric, etc. Backed by the likes of Prime Venture Partners and Matrix partners, the brand is on a mission to make two wheeler financing a digital first process, while solving for all stages of ownership sequentially (think servicing, insurance, resale, etc.)
