About

~23 years of experience encompassing: ~5 years as an entrepreneur building a Health-Tech start-up (www.yoska.in) for B2B & B2C global markets and ~18 years in leadership roles across MNCs (Eightfold.ai, LinkedIn, Cognizant, Infosys), building high performance teams delivering product and process consulting for global customers. For an unversed my career trajectory looks crazy (maybe it is!). I have been fortunate to take multiple risks & each time end up better. Pursuit of Dreams: • IFB (5 months): Nipping the bud of a career in Design as a Mechanical Engineer TO pursue a career in IT which drew my passion more than Finite Element Analysis • ITC Infotech (~3 years): Being deeply in love with coding TO deciding to study MBA and be a trusted advisor helping companies undertake technology driven transformations • Infosys (1 year): Starting to take wings in a dream company TO wanting to accelerate a consulting career • Cognizant (7.5 years): Being comfortably numb leading a consulting practice and globetrotting to consult different businesses on their CRM strategy TO switching multiple gears (services to product, CRM to Talent Management consulting) • LinkedIn (2+ years): Relishing a new industry and consulting in Indian market TO dreaming of entrepreneurship • Yoska (~5 years): Witnessing the highs and lows of entrepreneurship encapsulating the most rewarding experience TO moving away with no plan in mind! Moving out of your own start-up seems like an incomplete journey. However, those were the most challenging, enriching and fulfilling years of my professional life. I would highly recommend everyone to take a plunge at some point in your career, if you are passionate about an idea and are upbeat about the founding team. • Eightfold.AI (~4 years): Restarting my corporate journey couldn’t have been better than this - a mission which is very inspiring, product which is one of the best, a team which is very accomplished, measurable values delivered to some of the biggest global corporates. • Kapture CX: A dream role, opportunity to witness Agentic AI take shape and deliver concrete value to customers, well accomplished teams enjoying the chaos of a growth stage organisation. I am very passionate about customer experience / success, building products, entrepreneurship and AI. Would be happy to connect with anyone who shares common interests.

  • Working for Infosys was a dream I had, like lakhs of engineers during 90’s. So was elated when I landed there post my MBA. Quit a dream company to pursue a consulting career.

Itc infotech

Module Lead (Software Engineer)

Oct 2000May 2003 · 2 yrs 7 mos

  • Long queues outside IT companies during walk-ins reminds me of “Pursuit of Happiness”. When I landed in ITC Infotech, was extremely eager to prove myself and turned a workaholic working on multiple projects.
  • Was part of Microsoft Practice working on design and development of web applications.
  • Quickly fell in love with ASP, SQL Server, Java script & HTML so much so that at one point I was working on two projects simultaneously. And maybe I might have made it to record books for the maximum number of lines of SQL coding (Stored Procedures anyone?) in the first year as a software engineer.
  • After romancing coding for ~3 years, decided to pursue an MBA dream.
