• As a developer-consultant for Silverpond, I undertake all aspects of project delivery as they are required - from business-case development, requirements gathering and clarification, to architecture, algorithms and team-leadership. While I have a depth of technical experience that can be brought to bear on difficult problems as they become apparent - and soliciting help from others when my experience is not enough, I differentiate my responsibilities from a pure developer role by taking a broader view of engagements than simple task-at-hand engineering by refining an understanding of what is really needed to address the project in the scope of its contextual mission.

• In 2016 an organising committee including myself and chaired by Noon Silk partnered with Compose :: Conference in New York to run a sister event in Melbourne called "Compose :: Conference Melbourne", or "Compose :: Melbourne" informally. This year I took over as chair to run the event and it would actually be fantastic if the chair could continue to rotate for future events. We attracted a crowd of roughly 200 for this year's event, assembled a committee and advisory-board and coordinated speakers, sponsors, volunteers, videography, catering, etc.
• The committee has expressed an interest in the position of chair to rotating for Compose :: Melbourne yearly. As such the position has now been transitioned to Ken Scambler for 2018 after a successful 2017 conference.

• We founded MFPAI to provide an umbrella association for events such as Compose :: Conference Melbourne. This allows for management of financials, insurance, agreements, etc. Events can be conducted with independent organisation, but lean on MFPAI for management and organisational capabilities.

• Worked in an assurance position at iiNet. When shit hits the fan, the fan hits assurance.
• Some of the tasks I undertook during my time at iiNet:
• Identifying and resolving core-system defects as incidents were reported
• Development of new change-control systems for deployment of new features and fixes
• Involved in the adoption of DevOps at iiNet
• Code-reviews and reconciliations of conflicting concerns for multiple projects

• Engaged in end-to-end business-development from sales to engineering to account-management
• Sordina Productions is currently hibernating, but used as an umbrella for any small commercial projects.
