• In my current role as a tech lead/POC , I have been responsible for leading the work for flights seat selection and bags selection for Expedia. I am also leading the efforts for adding ancillaries to the native apps which is a focus for Expedia.
• Projects:
• 1. Point Of Sale (POS) Expansion - From a flights perspective, I was responsible for delivering a number of sites including www.orbitz.com, cheaptickets.com, ebookers , www.expedia.ch, www.expedia.tw thus bringing in more revenue from these sites and also helped in building a team to deliver future site launches by bringing in automation in various processes and setting the guidelines.
• 2. Developing and architecting a core library that sits at the heart of each service in the flights stack and is used for storing and hosting business configurations.
• 3. Building and architecting a rule migration framework using AWS technologies that helps in transporting rules from old architecture to new by adding new templates.
• 5. Redesigning of flights services in micro-services and led the project for flights details and commissioning work in a grand project names Darwin.
• 6. Frontend- Worked on frontend migration of legacy search and details page to a PWA application
• 7. Service Ownership- Responsible for various significant services, in terms of driving the architecture and future of these services and meeting the urgent requirements like security issues etc.
