• I worked on Enterprise Data Catalog Product when it was migrating from deploying
• catalog service from Hadoop systems to Non-hadoop systems. We were using NoMad compute
• node for compute and Hashicorp Valut for security. EDC product scans customer data systems and provide insightful information. It automatically scan catalog data across the enterprise, index it for
• enterprise-wide discovery using simple, google -like search. I worked on designing tools for
• performing what-if scenarios, data comparison tools for pre and post upgrade apart from regular planning and automation of non-hadoop catalog service. I also worked on Databricks-
• notebook Scanner of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Service (Enterprise Data governance on Cloud ), I got to write good number of notebook samples to validate Notebook scanner data flows and lineage.
• Disruptive Tool Automation:
• We have inhouse tool that performs disruptive actions (Configure CPU use, Memory,
• DiskIO, Disk Full, Process stop/resume/kill –etc) on Linux agents using client-server model
• through REST api calls. This tool was useful to perform what-if scenarios for EDC product. I
• integrated disruptive tool with our java automation f/w as well with process automation, to
• setup up the client-server model and execute what-if scenarios seamlessly.
• Upgrade Catalog Data Validator using Scrapy+Selenium:
• I designed a tool that fetch the UI data of all assets in catalog, and compare with the
• pre upgrade data. I used Scrapy + selenium for this effort. Scrapy has advantage of writing
• multiple spiders to perform designated tasks. We were using same tool for both admin and
• catalog pages to collect data for 10 million of assets.

• I worked on Feature testing, Performance testing, Stress testing. I also involved in feature release tracking for couple of releases. Release tracking involves pipeline tracking, both internal and external bugs resolved in that release and new feature work. I also worked on test planning and automation of dedupe across and within journals of Managed volume.
• We use bi-weekly sprints for planning and tracking work. Any test will go through manual repro(if needed), landing automation in github using arc and phabricator for code review, adding Jenkins job for the test(we use ansible scripts to create Jenkins docker container for test validation), show stable runs and then add to the pipeline.
• I had exposure on scoping work for new feature in upcoming release, creating test plan for it, brainstorming and creating lib design needed for automation. And finally automating lib and tests for new feature.

• I have 6 years of software test automation experience with Oracle Cloud products. I have hands on frame work development, test automation, End to End testing, configuring and Regressions testing using Hudson/Jenkins. Also worked on Integration testing in lab, pre-production and production which got me exposure to devops work. Also worked on projects along with main projects, which include delivering oracle cloud platform service manager on docker, storing our test results in DB and retrieve the results as per query through micro service apis-- etc.
• During all my experience worked across multiple cloud projects which includes Java, Weblogic, Oracle DB, MySql, Big Data Spark and Kafka, Application Container service cloud services which run on Oracle Platform Service Manager. I have contributed to lot of knowledge sessions/trainings across all our teams located at several places over the world. Currently leading couple of folks for test automation and also contributing to it for spark cloud project. We work on agile model, familiar with jira process of creating dashboards, epics and issues.
