I have been working on the VMware vSphere platform since 2010. I worked for almost 7 years as a VMware admin wherein my job was Manage/Maintain/Upgrade VMware vSphere environments. From 2017 to 2021, I worked for VMware as Senior Technical Support Engineer for VMC on AWS. My responsibilities were to Onboard customers assist the customers with PoCs assist them with Day 2 operations Internal / External Content Creation Manage Escalations Mentoring team members partnering with the PM team for new features. From 2021 (i.e. my current job) I am working for Oracle as a Cloud VMware Specialist in the EMEA region. I work as Pre sales architect.   • Worked in three major accounts, where my job was to build/manage/maintain/tune VMware infrastructure.
  • Designed/Managed/Upgraded vSphere 5.5 environment to 6.0U2; upgraded close to 60 ESXi Hosts and around 900 Virtual Machines

  • Enabled Advanced Performance Charts via Level Mapping utility for Six Virtual Centers. The charts included enabling Datastore / Latency graphs.
  • Configured & Setup VMware Alarm Monitoring with SNMP Tool Spectrum. I was involved in deciding the parameters for the Monitoring. We created custom alarms on VC and that were forwarded to the SNMP agent; which in turn were forwarded to SOI for ticket creation. This project helped streamlined Monitoring Issues.
  • Configured Image Level Backup for the VM’s with the help of Backup Team. This project helped us resolving Backup Issues for Virtual Machines. We used PowerCLI script to disk type to Persistent without downtime.
