Growth

Aug 2014Mar 2017 · 2 yrs 7 mos

  • Initially focused on growing our flagship product VWO. Major contribution there was figuring out our buyer personas and how to combat churn.
  • Later started working on new products to generate new revenue opportunities for Wingify starting from a SaaS product for mobile marketing automation and then moving on to consumer apps for events, messaging and an AR-based game, and even a hardware product.
  • None of these products worked out for different reasons but the learning was incredible which I have written about at https://growth.wingify.com/building-10-new-products-in-18-months-at-wingify-and-how-they-turned-out-fd94fd4bd970

  • Handled the complete marketing at FusionCharts, both online and offline. This included building upon the already strong web presence of FusionCharts, finding new ways to connect with our target audience, conceptualizing and implementing websites, executing marketing campaigns working with internal and external teams, getting covered both in the blogosphere and traditional press, developing creatives including copywriting and art direction, and putting together our show at expos both in India and abroad. I love writing and used to write a lot for the FusionCharts blog talking about the domain itself, usability and a lot of behind-the-scenes fun (which gives the company a personality and human face).
  • Also, put together the sales team at FusionCharts right from scratch. This included training salespeople on our principles and processes, setting up systems, working out the KPI's, developing new sales collaterals and pitches, and keeping the team motivated at all times. I like talking to customers a lot, so I made sure that I was in direct contact with a lot of them as well.
