• Led the architecture and development of Ericsson's carrier grade SDN controller for Service Providers, based on Opendaylight. Was responsible for controller infrastructure (clustering, HA, task scheduling etc) and applications like BGP-MPLS based L3VPN on SDN using distributed virtual switches, based on OpenFlow-1.3.1, OVSDB and Openstack. • Led the architecture & development of various proofs of concept (PoC) for Ericsson to showcase its technology leadership in network infrastructure and services. Some of the POC I led were: virtual home gateway, micro-data center in services card on Ericsson's IP Edge Router (SSR), service chaining, next generation distributed router architecture (distributed forwarding), control plane scaling for NFV in cloud environments etc.
• Working on the next generation OS and advanced technology projects for Ericsson's IP based products.

• Founded the Control Plane and System Infrastructure team in Bangalore and grew it to a team of 14 members. The team made key contributions to key features of Juniper's QFabric (http://www.juniper.net/us/en/local/pdf/whitepapers/2000384-en.pdf).

• Started a team from scratch and grew it to a 12 member team which defined and delivered the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) on the M and T Series Juniper platforms. I was responsible for hiring, training, driving the design and implementation, and working with cross functional teams for rolling out the changes on existing platforms.

• Joined Cplane as an early member of the team. Wore multiple hats and worked on multiple projects from scratch and numerous avatars of the products as the company realigned with market demands.
• Developed and led teams which designed and developed key applications and infrastructure pieces including the J2EE based Workflow Engine and the Information Repository that were central components in the CPlane Service Activation Platform and used the platform to deliver network services line Bandwidth on Demand and 2547bis MPLS/BGP VPNs.

• Member of Technical Staff in the Networking and Distributed Systems Group in the Internet Platform Division of AT&T Labs.
• Worked on porting a distributed multithreaded management and monitoring system to Windows for the Geoplex platform and was the lead architect and developer for the Distributed Network Element which enabled Split Architecture in the Geoplex platform.
