• Working as Tech Lead in Azure Backup team which handles backup of peda bytes of data.
• Designed, developed and deployed a critical Azure PaaS Service. This service is capable of copying millions of Azure Files (i.e. TBs of data) from one AFS (Azure File Share) to another.
• Designed Azure PaaS service to backup AFS into a cheaper storage, Azure Blobs. This was a hard design as AFS can have millions of files and can grow up to 500 TB in size.
• Designed a solution for automated roll over of storage keys for the Azure storage accounts owned by Azure backup; this was a tricky problem to solve as new storage accounts are added in Azure Backup services at run time.
