• Matchmove is a B2B SaaS company, providing a platform to manage digital wallets and cards. This allows us to provide Send, Spend and Lend capabilities on the platform.
• Handled the core APIs of the platform, including external integrations with banks.
• My role was primarily to help the transition from a Monolith to Microservices by building services in Go. Also, evaluated between multiple competing tools for a given use-case to decide which would be best suited for the organisation by implementing POCs and eventually rolling them out as a part of the new stack. • Designed a better polling strategy using the concepts of exponential back-off and jitter based back-off
• Implemented SAGA pattern for updates made from the system to external systems
• Built a system to publish resource updates from the application to RabbitMQ, with no change to the application
• Designed and implemented a system/application monitoring stack to identify system bottlenecks
• Designed and implemented a continuous delivery workflow to reduce the manual process of verifying pull requests and deployment
