  • Member of a global correlation team as a part of the larger Platform and Silicon Solutions Group. Working on the characterization, productization and bringup of NVIDIA products and development of internal tools to increase efficiency.
  • Projects:
  • Ampere and Turing:
  • o Led the bringup effort for day 0 power on, providing firmware settings related to performance and power states for bringup and for debug to other teams
  • o Performed socket level testing on chips and screening of boards
  • o Led discussions tom optimize the flow for correlation firmware settings submission and worked with different teams to meet the requirements
  • o Provided product estimates based on power, perf and yield analysis
  • o Handled settings submission for all the GPU products across BU for correlation team
  • Tool Development
  • o Developed a tool that verifies product estimations against actual silicon behaviour across process, voltage and temperature. It also provides clock and performance states data for various conditions. It enables comparison of different products and their performance characteristics. The tool uses Perl, Python, Bash and JavaScript.
  • o Currently working on a tool to meet internal requirement for security based access of specifications and knowledge from different data sources. I use different tools and frameworks like C#, RavenDB, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js and Visual Studio.

  • Developed a tool to verify the GPU specifications programmed as defined in firmware. It performs system tests to verify if the specifications are as programmed. It automates the process and enables the detection of bug earlier in the process cycle. The tool is based on Perl, Bash and JavaScript. Python is used for performing file operations and generating the final report in excel.

  • The work mainly dealt with programming and configuring custom FPGA-based boards.
  • The primary project dealt with the implementation of Picoblaze processor in a Spartan 6 FPGA. The processor was programmed in Assembly and routines were implemented to interface it with a W5500 Ethernet module. Web pages were stored in the attached Flash memory and a TCP connection was established with the FPGA as the the server and the PC as the client.
  • Most of the programming was done in Verilog and Assembly, with a it of VHDL. I worked extensively on Vivado, ISE and Impact tools provided by Xilinx. I also used some open source tools such as Opbasm and xc3sprog. I programmed and worked on Spartan 6, Kintex 7 and Artix 7 FPGA during the course of my work.
