• Participated in the Brit-Google hackathon by leading a team of 6 in the research, development and testing of an end-to-end solution to automate the extraction and structuring of relevant information from insurance submissions, where the data was unstructured and dispersed across multiple different documents in multiple formats.
• Researched several enterprise search solutions like AWS Kendra and Elasticsearch by building functioning prototypes and testing (and quickly iterating) them with users. Implemented real-time web search with features like instant auto-complete, highlighting and categorisation in a statically generated Gatsby site.
• Built a real-time road damage detection POC using state-of-the-art object detection methods, trained on thousands of dash cam images. The system was able to identify potholes with an accuracy of 90%.
• Organised a Deloitte-Mulesoft meetup and showcased an AI prototype that was able to identify the emotion of a person using a webcam and play songs according to the recognised emotion.
• Explored AWS’s Computer Vision and NLP services, and used them to create boilerplate applications and demos for a college hackathon. Mentored students by helping them build their first AI application.

• Worked on a genetics and genomics data platform (Flask/AngularJS/ElasticSearch). Downloaded, cleaned and integrated big data from multiple sources, extracted useful insights from it and presented it to users in the form of visualisations. Also, set up multiple AWS instances from scratch.
• Redesigned a web app (Python/Django/MySQL) from the ground up and added new functionality to streamline an internal process with a massive amount of positive feedback from the stakeholders.
• Developed a Progressive Web App (Flask/MySQL/Javascript), making it quick and easy for any employee to report incidents and accidents, overcoming the challenges of accessibility and security. Developed an accompanying Android app and deployed it to many devices across different sites.
• Integrated lab equipment directly to the network and built an IoT application (Python/Flask/Javascript) allowing scientists to extract data from the equipment as well as analyse and visualise that data in real-time or over the course of an experiment window using a novel task scheduler.
• Introduced a fully comprehensive REST API "standard project template" (Python/Flask/OpenAPI) for other developers to quickly create an API layer on their web projects.
• Created a REST API (Flask/Python) allowing any web application to interact with the servers embedded in legacy barcode scanners using python's socket library.
