• MyTarget - Android (Flagship App) (Oct 23 - Present)
• Created “BrandManager”, a program for our marketing needs relating to a large rebrand to
• automate the change-over of hundreds of instances of string copy and imagery. This utilized string injection, Hilt/Dagger, and feature flags. Written in Kotlin utilizing a public interface/private implementation method.
• Re-routed a help link to direct to newly created in-app help pages instead of opening a browser tab. Completed via creating a new Singleton navigation effect and adding the new page to a user’s fragment backstack when clicked.
• Converted three screens from Android View to Compose: Discounts Screen, Shopping Partner Screen, and Setting Screen.
• Converted eight module instances of RXJava to Coroutines during a scheduled conversion.
• Used Grafana to monitor roll outs and Bugsnag to catch issues. Reported incidents through
• ServiceNow.
• Led exploratory spike: reverse-engineered web’s ability to provide change email functionality
• and determined how to bring said feature to iOS and Android. Documented all required API endpoints, service calls, security layers, and systems.

• Built a custom Tabs Component in Jetpack Compose and Kotlin for the employee app.
• Added Jetpack Compose content description functionality to 37 existing components.
• Built a pre-commit hook for Git that ran Gradle’s Spotless - a linting feature.
• Added missing unit tests to 18 components, utilizing Jetpack Compose’s testing framework

• Created a new API endpoint to process team names, written in Kotlin.
• Added a validation call within our API to query an upstream Kafka source to verify information
