• Research Assistant to Dr Erica Pani, Director for Local Economic Development and Planning at the Department of Geography and Environment at the London School of Economics. Dr. Erica’s research takes a heterodox approach to economic geography and urban planning. Her over-arching aim is to explore how new theoretical, conceptual and political possibilities for more socially just forms of economy can be re-imagined and put into practice. I was assisting Dr. Erica on a funded LSE project that brings together two different worlds of flood risk planning. 'THE PLANNING FOR SUSTAINABLE CITIES GLOBAL LEARNING INITIATIVE' is a collaborative project between Ardhi university, Dar Es Salaam and the London School of Economics and Political Science. The overarching aim is to bring students together to compare real world urban environments in the global north and south, enabling them to interrogate how context, planning tools and resources impact on “planning for sustainability”.

• Vocation with The African Development University (A.D.U.) as their Faculty Associate for public policy and design thinking. Teaching and assisting with courses on Design Thinking, Public Policy, Social Entrepreneurship and Business Development. Since my childhood, I have always been passionate about African development and was happy to have received an opportunity to explore the development and education sector in Niamey, Niger. Tasked with independently managing the Innovation Lab and facilitating growth of business models for the African leaders of the next decade
• Additionally, I also developed research projects awaiting approval and funding while helping the university remain compliant with relevant regulatory and governmental guidelines. Also contributed to regulatory submissions and consultations in the Sahel.

• By invigorating a burgeoning perspective, IJPSL expedites amendments in the functioning of the development sector. It gives credence to behavioural insights as an entity, thus providing a podium to fresh perspectives in the realms of public policy, welfare and other sectors.
• Key Highlights of my role at IJPSL include
• Established a scholarly journal to foster discourse in the realm of policy sciences, law, and other relevant principles
• Execute logistical tasks, liaison between various teams, and encourage academic engagement
• Assist teams to draft marketing strategies, host events, and reviewing manuscripts.

• Worked remotely with the Government of New South Wales, Australia as their virtual intern and completed the following modules in time and with high precision:
• Policy Officer Case Study; Whereby I filled in for an existing policy officer and worked on the project of increasing organic foods in school canteen through policy initiative.
• Gave recommendations on the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Schemes in the sector
• ICT Policy- Whereby, I drafted recommendation and consulted a new cyber security policy through mitigating risks, incorporating AI and drafting a framework of legal deterrence towards strengthening cyber security.
• Major, Large Scale Policy Data Analysis
• Services Designer- This was one of the most interesting projects of the internship. Whereby, I was to identify customer requirements for the End Of Life Journey project, which is basically a public policy initiative to manage ones death or the death of their loved ones by managing legal, financial, socio-cultural dimensions of death.
• Loved working and understanding more in the End of Life Journey Project.

• Policy briefings and presentations included long hours of policy and financial analysis including responsibility for cross-examining cost-benefit criteria and suggesting adequate incremental modeled policy inputs based on economizing already running projects.

• Spearheading a specialized project working for Child Welfare, Education and Urban Slum Development through Policy Advocacy, Research and Capacity Building.
• Initially had worn all the hats including managing a large team, Operations director, Social Media, On field work, lesson planning, Policy Lobbying to various governmental bodies and individuals including MPs and MLAs, Handling the Policy, Finances, Market Research for the Organization all single handedly as a new generation social-preneur.
• Project uP is fueled with young social-preneurs and their share will to make a change, we meet discuss and work closely as a family to bring forth small changes, we do not rush behind numbers but believe in the power of 'one'. Empowering the life of one individual.
• I feel if Project uP even helps one person stand back on their feet, gives hope to even one person and makes even one person smile. It is a success.

• 2017 winter, I Was selected for a onsite research project with the German University of Cairo, Egypt and their partner NGO: Art2Care. My primary work included the research and implementation of a policy emphasizing the use of Art Therapy to aid minors suffering from Post Traumatic Disorders and chronic illnesses.
• The pilot project was run in an orphanage with a set of 35 children, the success of the pilot was seen by a notable increase in the dietary and sleeping habits of the children under the the Art Therapy. The pilot was then further increased to 60 children and the perks of art therapy in healing started becoming increasingly apparent.
• The policy was widely appreciated and was then implemented in various pediatric nursing homes and hospitals across Cairo. This experience practically changed my life as my work was onsite and many a times I had to observe children suffering due to illness or psychological issues. Here, I realized that life was way beyond money and fame. Thus, I started chasing a higher purpose that of creating joy and value for the sake of others, I feel that gives me the most fulfillment.
