• During my internship at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) in noida in August 2024, I immersed myself in the comprehensive process of designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for advanced electronic applications. My responsibilities encompassed creating detailed electronic schematics, utilizing industry-standard software to ensure accurate representation of circuit functionalities, and facilitating seamless transitions to PCB layout design. I employed advanced PCB design tools to craft precise layouts, focusing on optimal component placement, efficient routing, and maintaining signal integrity to meet project specifications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, I selected appropriate electronic components, considering performance, cost, and availability, while managing and updating component libraries to reflect the latest industry standards. I conducted thorough design rule checks (DRC) and signal integrity analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards, assisted in assembling prototypes, and performed functional testing to validate design performance. Additionally, I prepared comprehensive design documentation, including fabrication drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials (BOM), to facilitate seamless manufacturing processes. This experience enhanced my technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and communication skills, providing a solid foundation in PCB design engineering and equipping me to contribute effectively to future electronic design projects.
