• I worked on the well-known essay scoring task in Natural Language Processing. Implemented a state-of-the-art (CNN+LSTM+attention) essay scoring model and discovered additional tasks for scoring the essays and extended the essay scoring model on these tasks using Multi-task learning. The labels for the additional tasks were trained aggregating simulated labels using crowdsourcing aggregation algorithms. Built a demo application capturing a creator-reviewer-consumer workflow on a collaborative authoring platform.

• Implemented an approximation algorithm to compute Large Sparse Jacobian matrices using Star Bicoloring.
• Ran the algorithm on large bipartite graphs and compared the results with ColPack's Partial distance-2 algorithm.
• The Star Bicoloring algorithm needed many fewer colors than other algorithms for most of the large bipartite graphs.
