About

I'm Akshat, a final year undergraduate at IIT Delhi majoring in Mathematics and Computing (Dual degree). My interests span across mathematics, economics, finance, and theoretical computer science— drawing me to interdisciplinary fields like game theory, quantitative finance, and computational social choice. I’ve also explored machine learning and natural language processing in depth, and enjoy thinking about theoretical ideas as much as practical applications. I also like competitive programming and solving problems that blend probability, statistics, and algorithmic thinking. I have worked as a QR intern at an HFT, where I worked on developing alphas for options in the Indian market (NSE). I gained in-depth knowledge about options and how markets work in general. I have also done a research intern in France, where I worked on ML and DL research in the space of Federated Learning. I am particularly interested in the field of algo trading, and actively looking for full time roles as a Quant Researcher/Trader. Would like to connect for further discussions!
