• Description : DCR (Developer Center Repository) is a homegrown, API based object store used to store various artifacts like SDKs, Certification related files, API and Documentation files. It uses MySQL to store object metadata and an NFS store to store files. Later it was migrated to use PostgreSQL for metadata and PVC for file store which was earlier stored in NFS storage. There is API integrations to service in BUs build pipelines for publishing API-related documentation.
• Role : Involved in designing and implementing DCR service that provides the following functionalities.
• a. SSO login using OAUTH2.0 to VMware CSP Adapter service using CSP backend
• b. Implemented various api’s to support clients to create and manage the contents and artifacts.
• c. Designed and implemented the API caching layer for quick response of read intensive api’s
• d. Made the service to be containerized and made it deployable on VDP which is Kubernetes based
• e. Provide seamless login to Pulse instance from CSP Adapter service
