• > Programmed and conceptualized a quicker Day 0 setup process, bringing down the time from 3 days to 1 hour. Built and controlled 9 environments that used to deploy and ship OBP to multiple banks in Australia and KeyBank in US.
• > Expanded the current framework to create Web Service SOAP requests from Excel sheets. This allowed data to be varied. Then the request can be fired using Java's own Request Handler. Built an entire embedded request and response system using only native JDK SOAP protocols.
• > Extended framework to support Cucumber functionality to generate Origination Scripts within a matter of seconds.
• > Setup Jenkins 2 and then helped the entire team to move to pipeline from stand alone jobs. Learned a lot about creating declarative pipelines using groovy. Groovy files can be stored and re-used in case of a Jenkins failure or crash. Scripts can be re-utilized by other team members to re-create jobs without having to re-configure a new script from scratch.
• > Created the first Oracle Banking Platform Automation Portal using MEAN stack. The services provided in the OBP Portal are :
• Collate reports from instances running in Jenkins for SMOKE, REGRESSION reports and then make them live with every test case execution.
• Cucumber portal to collate statements and generate feature files which are further parsed using the Java based framework to generate entire test cases in excel format for executions. The portal can support statements across releases and modules.
• > Trained most of the team in all of the technologies which were implemented by me. Mentored 2 of my juniors to help me maintain the framework and service the entire OBP team for Automation.
