Dipanjan Chakraborty — Head of Design
I have a PhD from IIT Delhi. My research is on HCI and ICTD, specifically on building technology tools that improves the engagement between the citizens and the government. I have built and deployed IVR tools that let citizens communicate to the government their perception around welfare schemes, easily access scheme related data and flag anomalous data, and connect to civil society volunteers who work to resolve grievance filed by the citizens. Besides building the technology, I have a acquired a depth on field work, deploying the tools, getting people to use them, and evaluating them. I am currently looking for research, development and design positions which will let me explore the role of technology in social development in greater details. I am also open to other positions which will enable me to use my software development and design skills. My CV can be found here: http://www.cse.iitd.ernet.in/~dipanjan/misc/cv-dipanjan.pdf
