• I had the incredible opportunity to lead the engineering team at Perch Club, a startup focused on building a purchase platform with a loan product, right from its inception. In this role, I:
• Led the development of an enterprise-level platform using Golang, AWS, Next.js, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
• Designed and implemented innovative technical solutions while aligning the team’s efforts with the company's business goals.
• Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the product met user needs and maintained high performance and security.
• Despite the platform showing promise, we made the tough decision to wind down operations after six months due to internal factors beyond our control. This experience, though short-lived, was invaluable. It reinforced my belief in the importance of adaptability, leadership in fast-paced environments, and the ability to pivot quickly when necessary. The lessons learned continue to shape how I approach new challenges and opportunities.
