Passionate about using design and technology for positive change, I’ve lead multidisciplinary teams to solve challenges in emerging tech, consumer products, mobility, and health & wellness. I apply a human-centered design approach to drive breakthrough products and foster new thinking within organizations. Since 2008, I've served as a Partner at Smart Design, a design and innovation consultancy in Brooklyn, where I play a key role in shaping the company's strategic vision and culture. Committed to design leadership, I've guided the company's expansion into emerging areas like AI and Trust and Service Design, while maintaining our core strengths in product design. Since 2011, it has been a privilege to serve on the Advisory Board of the Design Management Institute, where I co-chaired one of their most well-attended conferences, Design at Scale. My work has been recognized with numerous awards, including Service Design Award (Best-in-class), FastCo Innovation, IDEA (Gold), and D&AD Award. I've shared my insights in major publications like Fast Company, Fortune, The New York Times, and DMI Review. I'm a frequent speaker at Cornell Tech and have taken the stage at conferences such as the Service Design Network Global Conference, DMI's Design Leadership Conference, Quirks, and the IDSA’s International Design Conference. Additionally, I've served on the jury for the IDEA and Clio Awards.
