• Analysed openstreetmaps data for its quality over en-IN and en-GB market and used this data to extract polygons for various Bing Local Business Entities. Used Big Data frameworks to extract the metadata and mapped it to the extracted polygons using string metrics like Edit Distance and Jaccards Score over unigrams. Applied polygon expansion techniques for entity inside polygon match to increase the overall recall. Gained and overall precision of 91% for London and increased the lat-long precision by 107m on average. Increased the lat-long precision of the matched entities by 118m on average for Hyderabad. Automated the process to run this for any market and region.
