• At Microsoft I work as a tech lead bringing together teams of scientists, engineers and product managers to deliver customer centric ML features like dynamic search refiner, spelling correction, user personalization, language model compression etc. after observing stat-sig gains on key relevance metrics. In these projects I used my deep understanding of search stack all the way from business logic workflows to indexing of metadata on items, query time caching and warm up patterns for performance, giving early emphasis on instrumentation, scorecards and experimentation velocity and helping craft the suggestion experience on both silent and server side.
• I organized 3 cross-org hackathons (FHL) in which collectively we show-cased close to 100 projects through London and Bellevue demoes. I showcased many projects myself as part of this initiative - spelling correction for outlook search, dynamic query refiners using mined topics and email nudge feature, to name a few.
