• At Virtualness (https://www.virtualness.io/), we initially launched as a B2C NFT marketplace, bridging the digital and physical worlds with NFTs linked to tangible real-world benefits. Our primary focus areas included creators, brands, and sports, with a commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions in the web3 ecosystem.
• In my role, I was responsible for translating the business vision into a comprehensive technology, product, and design strategy. Through this approach, we successfully implemented several industry-first innovations, including:
• 1. Generative AI Artwork and On-Chain Minting
• Enabled users to create unique generative AI artwork, mint it on-chain, and either sell or gift it to friends and loved ones.
• 2. First NFT Marketplace with Native Google and Apple IAP Workflows
• Seamlessly integrated Google and Apple in-app purchase workflows to simplify user transactions within the ecosystem.
• 3. Real-World Experiences Linked to NFTs
• Offered unique real-world benefits such as exclusive merchandise from celebrity creators, 1-on-1 virtual sessions, and more, unlocked through NFT purchases.
• 4. Blockchain-Based Voting
• Introduced publicly verifiable voting mechanisms on the blockchain, enhancing transparency and building trust in leaderboards and competitions.
• 5. Engaging Community Features
• Developed trivia games and partnered with Liga 1 Indonesia to create a soccer fantasy league, delivering interactive experiences to sports fans.
• Our solutions were underpinned by a strong commitment to user-centricity—making onboarding and platform usage simple, intuitive, and seamless.
• Pivot to Verix: Expanding into the B2B Ecosystem
• Recently, the organization pivoted to focus on leveraging the platform for enterprise solutions, rebranding as Verix (https://www.verix.io/). This shift into the B2B ecosystem enables enterprises to verify credentials on-chain, harnessing the same innovative foundation to address new challenges and opportunities.

• Nykaa is India’s preferred e-commerce destination for beauty and personal care. It witnessed a blockbuster IPO in 2021. Today, Nykaa is a diverse portfolio of brands and business lines including Nykaa Man, Nykaa Fashion and the B2B distribution vertical called Superstore.
• Over the course of my tenure, I have been responsible for the evolution and development of many game-changing initiatives.
• Realtime clickstream, Display Network, Personalisation & Adtech are the key drivers of Nykaa’s unique customer acquisition and retention strategies. These services identify customer behaviour and auto target with most relevant suggestions and, as a by-product, deliver great ROAS for advertisers. The realtime clickstream has brought us to the cusp of in-session personalisation enabling crisp interventions for better customer satisfaction. Building these services at scale while sustaining BAU has been an exciting journey.
• We have enabled true omni-channel experience for our customers by developing an in-house POS which fully leverages the core Nykaa services and hence seamlessly enable new capabilities across the board. This pod is great demonstration of simple and effective architecture which is future proof.
• In pursuit of better data democracy, we have created our in-house customer data platform by ingesting data into our data lake from both onsite and offsite data sources. This is a key strategic enabler for better spends and behaviour visibility.
• Additionally, I also lead the client side experience on Nykaa.com and Nykaaman.com. Key initiatives include unified design systems, virtual try-ons, beauty portfolio, predict & win and the entire content engineering pivoting around lives and interest based IG-like feed for content led commerce.
• I joined as VP, Technology in 2019 and my role widened overtime.

• AffordPlan is a Technology-first Series B funded start-up which has grown to 200+ employees over the last two years. We count Kalaari Capital, Prime Ventures, Lok Capital, Omidyar Networks amongst our investors.
• Built and managing a team of 20+ Backend Developers, Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, Product Mangers, Mobile app developers, DevOps Engineer, UX Designer; overseeing their work, and ensuring that we build high quality applications and features for every delivery.
• Built a fully automated and digitised personal medical savings account experience akin to a Digital Bank.
• Built GPS-based real time tracking of on-field personnel (Operations, Sales, BD) and comprehensive payment collection tracking.
• Built Internal CRM for multiple teams (Operations, Sales, BD) to enhance process efficiency.
• Deep-Tech Integration of Visa enabled co-branded Debit Card with a Bank comprising of 360 degree ownership for Customer Onboarding, Card Loads, Benefits Accrual, Third Party Transfers, Transaction Settlement, POS and QR based Spends ownership at our end.
• Complete Integration of multi-party Payments Suite (UPI, Fund Transfers, Payment Gateways)
• Built Loan Management System for tie-ups with multiple NBFCs - allowing for custom workflows.
• Laying out technology roadmap for Investors in Board meetings on a regular basis and building predictability for its delivery.
• Technology stack includes Java, Spring, Python, Angular, iOS - Swift, Android - Java, AWS Ecosystem including RDS, EC2, S3, CloudTrail, CloudWatch.
• Expanding the product portfolio to cover a wider spread of financial tools. Project planning, scoping, estimation, tracking, and ensuring implementation of project plans within pre-set budgets and deadlines. Roll-outs are planned for FY 2019-20.
• Innovating and Strategising to increase adoption of unconventional financial tools for healthcare spends.
• Handled recruitment, training and performance management of team members.

• Spearheaded development of Winnow, which is essentially a Business and Risk Analytics product designed to significantly enhance Growth Strategy, Portfolio Management, Risk Management and Portfolio Control.
• Technology used includes Java, Spring MVC, JSP, JQuery, H2DB and IBM Cognos BI. Supported Databases include H2, SQL, MySQL, DB2.
• Released Winnow 2.0 with newer capabilities including Loss and Recovery Forecast Modules, multi-tenant Winnow SaaS (Data Analytics on cloud), Winnow on HDFS and a dynamic and highly configurable Early Warning Alert Capability.
• Experience in handling both Onsite/ Offshore projects and of working under cross-cultural and global environments. Headed Axslogic’s first successful full scale on-site implementation of Winnow at a major bank in Middle East Asia.
• Started out as Senior Manager: Pre-Sales and Product Development. Set-up the Java team focused on development of Winnow which has since been patented in many countries.
