I am currently a technical analyst at RAND where I work on topics related to AI, geopolitics, and national security. I received my Master's degree in global affairs at Tsinghua University and previously my bachelor’s degree in computer science from Hampton University. While at Hampton University, I had the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at Microsoft and then at NASA Langley Research Center. Through my experiences, I have discovered my passions and skills for research, gaming, programming, and program management, to name a few things. My journey has fueled my interest in areas such as racial and gender equity, AI biases, technical governance, and education/mentorship. I aim to use my unique experiences and education to understand how technology can affect global and national social issues.
