Role: Dev-Test Engineer
Responsibilities: Designing diagnostics app(diag) for reading and writing hardware registers using CLIs. Testing packet handling of hardware FPGA components (Layer 2 to Layer 4) and Operating System (SCOS) running on the processors (Layer 4 to Layer 7).
Key Activities:
Designing diagnostics app(diag) for reading and writing hardware registers using CLIs.
Developing test plan and test strategy.
Review of the test cases written for unit and integration level.
Automation script writing in java to perform automation testing.
Internal hardware FPGA component level testing.
Perform Feature testing, Performance Testing, Load/Stress Testing, Regression Testing.
Benchmark testing of the packet handling capacity of the product.
Effective coordination between development team and testing team.
Environment: C, Linux, Eclipse JAVA IDE, Solaris, Databases for software testing and Diagnostics for hardware testing.
