I am working as Head of Engineering in Kredivo. My current responsibilities are to design engineering strategies, overseeing engineering teams, generate technical and process improvements, implementing technical standards, improving app quality, ensuring product development success and more. I have been in Gojek for more than 7 years and my last roles in Gojek was Engineering manager. Before taking Engineering manager roles, I have worked on many different apps as mobile engineer. During early days of development, I used to create apps from scratch and deliver it on time. Then responsibility got change in Gojek and I was involved in the rewrite of Gojek consumer app (also making it monorepo from multi repo project) with the help of one more engineer. Once we are done with architecture and all base/launcher code, we invited product teams to inject their module in this architecture. But again, to keep code scalable and robust, it requires to verify code on a regular interval so I took responsibility to setup android CI/CD with same android engineer. Once I made sure that CI system is stable enough, I started looking into build system (gradle) to improve build time and to provide tools using gradle tasks and plugins. Goal for create Gradle tasks and plugin was to automate build process as much as possible. Now, I like to work and good at: - Help engineers and become enabler for the team - Measure and analyse work progress and taking data driven decisions - Writing build system code (gradle) to improve build quality and performance - Scalable CI/CD Infra for confident release. Used Kubernetes with GCloud to make it scalable. - Build automation - Good knowledge of Clean code and Solid principles - Build system related code reviews - Android will always be my first interest
