  • Under the aegis of the Green Urban Mobility Partnership (GUMP) between Germany and India, supported by the develoPPP program of Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and BOSCH India Ltd. have entered into a cooperation project on “Green Urban Mobility Innovation” and are setting up a “Living Lab” in Bengaluru to demonstrate how technologies can be used to bring sustainable and inclusive mobility solutions in India.
  • This initiative aims to enhance green urban mobility and transportation systems in India by creating a platform for innovation, collaboration, and prototyping, bringing public and private stakeholders together under the roof of a ‘Living Lab’. By providing an ‘open innovation ecosystem’, it is envisioned to contribute to an improved and enabling environment and framework conditions for Green Urban Mobility Innovation that has benefits for all citizens, including the vulnerable and poor groups of society. Among the core opportunity areas that are aimed to be addressed are air quality improvement, increase in public transport adoption, Non-Motorised Transport, universal access and so on.

  • NDC-TIA (March 2020 till May 2021)
  • I had worked in the areas related to technical aspects of Electric vehicle charging infrastructure, Smart charging of EVs. I worked on conceptualising activities of global and Indian review of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and smart charging of EVs.
  • Indo German Energy Programme - Energy Transition with DISCOMs (March 2020 till October 2021)
  • The technical competence of Indian DISCOMs are aimed to be improved to further disseminate Renewable Energy and within their networks by pilot measures on network planning, monitoring, demand response, and O&M related process optimization and quality management. I have experience in conceptualising and early stages of implementation of the activities in the above domain.
  • Indo German Energy Programme- Green Energy Corridors Project(IGEN-GEC) (October 2016 till March 2020)
  • Worked in the activity “Development of an indigenous solar power forecasting system” under IGEN-GEC project. A series of capacity building measures were undertaken to enable National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE), Chennai (an institute under MNRE) for the development of indigenous forecasting model. I was placed in NIWE, Chennai for 3.5 years.
  • Project Highlights:
  • A real life pilot on Indigenous solar PV forecasting model has been developed for different time horizons (day ahead, intra-day). Technologies were tested and evaluated for effectiveness for the first time in India.
  • Complete modelling was done using bottom up approach.
  • Actively contributed to the entire model development and operational implementation.
  • Designated responsible for the project management.
  • Papers presented in International conferences, and papers submitted in journals
