• Worked with Customer Returns team on the Return Policy, Return Reasons subsystems and the MVC stack of the customer-facing Amazon Returns web pages.
• Redesigned and implemented the MVC stack to improve efficiency, scalability to traffic and use case maintainability. We made a 30% faster service and modular codebase supporting 2x use cases.
• Refactored a Monolithic Return Reasons service as Microservices.
• Mentored a summer intern and led him to launch Amazon Returns Homepage.

• Re-implemented an Action-driven Return Notification Service as an Event-driven service. The project was finished and deployed to production.
• This project helped modularize the service by keeping the business logic separate from service function logic. New use cases could be written down with simple boolean expressions and the notification is triggered when the expression is satisfied.
