• The CoStAA comprises of 7 elected members and is the supreme body responsible for all extra curricular academic activities at BITS Pilani. It supervises the working of 16 departments, 17 clubs & 22 associations amounting to 2200+ student members. CoStAA also conducts ISO 9001:2008 certified BITS Pilani’s International Technical Festival, APOGEE.
• Also as the Head of the Department of Paper Presentations and Guest Lectures I led a 42-member team in organizing the Think Again Conclave, an assortment of offbeat, out of the box lecture featuring incredible speakers from different walks of life. This edition saw 6 speakers from different fields including 4 international speakers, namely Dr. Walter Lewin (professor emeritus, MIT), Ryan Woodward (animator, storyboard artist), John Hoffman (director of photography, NASA), Johanna Blakely (MD, Norman Lear Center), Mansoor Khan (director, producer, writer, economist) and Padma Shri Anil Gupta (creator, Honeybee Network).
• We also conducted Aarohan, an outreach initiative by team APOGEE, BITS Pilani. With an impressive reach of 19 cities, the initiative attempted to increase aptitude for science and coding among the school students while promoting Apogee simultaneously. We were able to raise INR 4.35 lac with a grand participation of more than 5000 students.
