• Implemented a research paper which proposed a novel, fast and robust algorithm for sound source localization
• Proposed algorithm is a combination of MUSIC (Multiple Signal Classification) and TDOA (Time Difference of Arrival)
• Detected sound source in the presence of Additive White Gaussian Noise using Uniform Linear Array of 10 microphone elements
• Reduced the searching space by TDOA method and then applied MUSIC algorithm in this reliable space to detect the source
• Implemented algorithm was four times faster than MUSIC, which was computationally expensive
• Proposed method can be utilized in video conference scenario, to steer camera automatically to the speaker of interest
