• In December 2022, I established the Human Ergonomic, Assistive, and Haptic Lab (HEAHL) with funding from DST, HEFA, and the Seed Grant from MANIT. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware, including a Kistler Force Plate, DST EEG machine, treadmill, sports cycle, smart shoe sole for force sensing, force myography equipment, and an intelligent camera. • Established in 2022, this lab serves UG, PG, and Ph.D. students and is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge robotics research. It features a range of sophisticated sensors, including IR, UV, and LIDAR for distance measurement; force and pressure sensors; acoustic sensors; and various motion sensors such as Kinect IMU, potentiometers (linear and angular), and optical encoders. The lab has developed numerous systems, including mobile robots, human-following robots, fire alarm detectors, smart dustbins, and solar trackers.
• Additionally, the lab is equipped with various microcontroller boards, including NodeMCU, Arduino Nano BLE, Arduino Nano, Arduino Uno, Mega, Raspberry Pi, and BeagleBoard. It supports a range of communication technologies, adhering to IEEE standards such as 802.15.4, 802.11, Wi-Fi, BLE, and LoRaWAN. The lab also includes an indigenously developed autonomous voice-controlled drone and a 3D printer.
